What type of styling is right for you?
Decorating – otherwise known as styling – makes a huge difference to the presentation of a property. From the photographs to the inspections, it helps potential buyers picture themselves (or their tenants) in the home.
There are a few different styling options to choose from:
1. Budget: This styling option is ideal for one and two-bedroom apartments. It includes adequate décor and a long styling period of 8 – 12 weeks.
2. Deluxe: This styling option is ideal for more premium properties that you’re confident will sell within 6 weeks. It’s a shorter styling period but more high-end décor.
3. Unlimited: This styling option is ideal for properties that might take a little longer to sell. These include smaller properties on busy streets, larger properties, display properties and properties where the vendor is holding out for a certain sale price.
For apartments, styling costs between $2500 and $5000.
For larger homes, styling costs between $4000 and $9000.
There’s nothing worse than the styling period running out before the property sells, so it’s important to take time, market conditions and potential stress factors into consideration.
