We want everyone to know our amazing staff as much as we do. Below is a recent chat we had with Meaghan.
Q: Can you tell me 2 interesting things about yourself?
A: Apparently I have one of the rarest eye and hair colour combinations in the world being a red head with blue eyes and I have two sets of twins in my family. I have a twin brother and my older brothers are twins as well.
Q: What do you enjoy about working in the real estate industry?
A: Though I am new to the industry, I love meeting new people and being part of their journey to home ownership. It inspires me to stay on track when it comes to working toward my own goals.
Q: Where do you see yourself living 10 years?
A: I am a lower north shore girl at heart and hope to find myself in 10 years waking up to harbour views in McMahons Point.
Q: What techniques and tools do you use to keep yourself organized?
A: I believe in keeping things simple and the power of a “to do list.” I have read that checking things off a list releases serotonin so double the benefit.
Q: Tell me about your proudest achievement.
A: Despite being a homebody and deathly afraid of being alone I am most proud of living independently in London, Dubai, Montreal, Seoul and Dublin. Especially with the current health climate I am thankful I took the opportunity to live overseas.
Q: Was there a person in your career who really made a difference?
A: Wayne and Christine here at Marriott Lane. Not only am I new to the industry but I was struggling to find employment due to the recession. They believed in me and my skills and in doing so they changed my life in more ways than one.
Q: What do you like to do in your spare time?
A: Anything artistic or family related. I love to bake, draw, paint and spend quality time with my beautiful nieces.
Q: What’s the best movie you’ve seen in the last year?
A: Curse of the Golden Flower – it is an epic Chinese film. The costumes, the cinematography … it is a visual masterpiece.
Q: What is your favourite memory from childhood?
A: Summer afternoons spent bike riding with my twin brother around the neighbourhood.
Q: If you could choose one superhero power, what would it be and why?
A: It may be a little predictable but who wouldn’t want the freedom of being able to fly high like Superman especially with traffic the way it is.
